The weather is very turbulent in this area, and snow is possible even in summer. Photos of the sunrise over the spires are especially sought after, because of the astounding colors.
2 great days in Patagonia
Summiting Madsen peak was challenging but extraordinary. Our guide, Federico, was top notch, professional, and a lot of fun. He met with us the night before to give us an overview of the trip, and got us really excited. He led the excursion like a true expert mountain guide, and we felt safe and yet challenged the entire trip. I also commend the chef who made our dinner and breakfast. The food was hot and delicious. I recommend this trip for anyone looking for a challenging, beautiful two day trip in Patagonia.
